Let people do what they need to do to make them happy, mind your own business, do what makes you happy

(1/3) All the things in my life can be categorized into 2 groups

1️⃣ My business
2️⃣ Not my business

And I realize spending too much time & effort concerning the second category will do me more harm than good

So in times of trouble, I often ask myself, is this actually my business? Am I interfering with somebody else’s life? Am I worrying about things larger than myself?

In fact, according to Buddhism, there are specifically 3 categories:

The first group — individual business — consists of things over which each of us has full control

For example, it’s all up to me to decide

What I eat

Whom I talk to

When I go to bed and when to wake up

How I spend my day or react to the events happen in my life

This group is what I should focus on
