Is slowness always a bad thing?

Mahatma Gandhi said, “There’s more to life than simply increasing its speed.”

But what I see is that we, human, often take “faster” for “better”

We praise people for getting things done quickly

We admire those who can do more in less time

Slowness is even considered as the lack of intelligence

However, scientifically, there is no link between the two

“Fast does not always equal smart

And slow doesn’t necessarily mean stupid”, Marianne Stenger

So next time when you feel like you are falling behind in life

Remember we are never in the same race, each of us has our own pace

And you just can’t rush things that you want it to last forever
